Today I Bury My Mother

Mom died peacefully in her sleep, March 27^th of this year.

Mom would have been 97 years old in October. She was cremated. Today her ashes will be buried next to my father. He died over 30 years ago.

There will be a small, family burial service for Mom later this morning, Then a memorial service at 2 PM. My sister had Mom’s obituary published in the local papers.

Mom is still a member of the church where she is being buried.

The church family has graciously planned a lunch for our family and is hosting a reception in the social hall after the memorial service.

I do not have more to say right now, only things to do.
