It’s Not Covid, So Why Do I Feel So Bad?

March 27, 2022 by Depression Is Not My Boss Leave a Comment

The test results confirmed it is not covid, so why do I feel so achy and tired>

My daughter helped me perform a self-test for the Covid-19 antigens yesterday afternoon. The manufacturer is so on top of things, they have pictured step by step directions in Spanish and English. Or you can scan a QR code, download their app, and it walks you through the test. Their app even sets a 15-minute timer so you can view the results at the proper time, Each … [Read more...] about It’s Not Covid, So Why Do I Feel So Bad?

An Authentic Self-Care Morning, As Even the Wildlife, Seem Thankful

Unless you know what coping statements are and why they are effective, you may not get the most out of them. I know from personal experience that this was true for me. Using coping statements began for me as affirmations. People send mental … [Read more...] about The Startling Truth About Coping Statements For Anxiety and Depression

Many Things Are Going Well, So Why Do I Feel Lackluster and Dull?

August 5, 2020 by Depression Is Not My Boss 2 Comments

Why do I feel lifeless when so many things are good? What is causing this enormous hole in my day-to-day feelings? The list for today was made yesterday. Many things on the list were crossed off as completed before lunchtime. So what? I just want to feel better. Feeling better is all I want. Not great, spectacular, or even above average. Simply better than I do. Faking … [Read more...] about Many Things Are Going Well, So Why Do I Feel Lackluster and Dull?
