The 10 Things I am Thankful for This Morning

1. I am thankful that I am alive to meet my newest grandchild.
2. I am thankful that today dawned bright and sunny and the air feels crisp.
3. I am thankful that my sons are both marvelous Dad’s, who see the big picture for themselves and their growing families.
4. I am thankful that each of my daughters-in-law are terrific mothers and have learned what my grandchildren need to be successful, even as they themselves grow.
5. I am so blessed and thankful to have all of my children bring their own talents to the world.
6. I am thankful that I can travel and are able to visit my families in different states.
7. I am thankful for the little things, a smile, a knowing nod, which makes the world a beautiful place to live.
8. I am blessed and thankful that each of my children has made decisions that help them grow as they invent themselves as we all do, over and over.
9. I am thankful for my grandson, who is loving and has empathy for others even as he exhibits confidence and enthusiasm for everything that comes his way.
10. I am thankful for my new granddaughter, who has already completely captured my heart.
