No Debt But Love has asked me a few questions, here are my answers:
Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging to share my journey as I learn about my diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder.

Is there a story behind the name of your blog?

My blog is My Concealed Depression because that is what I did for over 40 years. I hid it, never faced it, and just wanted it to go away.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

The Monteverde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica

What is your favorite movie?

The Hunt for Red October

What is your life’s greatest accomplishment?

Three remarkable children

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Honey Nut Cheerios

What is the title of the last book you have read?

Travels with Charley, by John Steinbeck

What is one way you relieve stress at the end of the day?

We built a deck on the back of our house in the mountains near the Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. I relax by sitting in the hot tub and looking at the mountains.

What cities or towns have you lived in?

I was born in Sparta, New Jersey. I have lived in Mobile, Alabama, Silver Springs, MD, Lay hill MD, Rockville, MD, Seaford, VA., Hampton, VA Newport News, VA, Hopewell, Va., Dale City, VA, Woodbridge, VA. Lakewood, NJ and now Stanardsville, VA. just outside of Charlottesville, VA.

Where do you find inspiration for your blog posts?

My blog posts are from my day to day experiences. I am chronicling my journey through life with my depression. Some days are bad, some days are ok, some days are great, and somedays are really funny.

Do you own any pets?

We have a rescue beagle, Miss Rikki, three cats, and a wide assortment of wild animals that frequent our 5 acres, including black bear, deer, many rabbits, raccoons, skunks, lots of fox and an occasional bald eagle.
